Sustainability & Wellness Fair

70+ organizations have signed up to be at Earth Fest! Groups will reflect a wide variety of sustainability and wellness topics and they are eager to share information with attendees. Many organizations will have activities at their booths and sustainable giveaways!

Drive EV

The Drive Electric Earth Day portion of Earth Fest will feature various electric vehicles that you can test drive.  While here, take the opportunity to talk with owners about their electric vehicles.  This is a great opportunity to enjoy the drivability of electric vehicles and find out more about the clean-air benefits, national security benefits, cost-savings and fun provided by electric cars. Owners will also be able to answer questions regarding charging, battery life, and range of their vehicles.

Plan ahead! Take advantage of these services at Earth Fest:

Water Testing

Free drinking water nitrate screening offered by St. Croix County.

Bring in ~8 oz. of water in a closed container (preferably glass) collected within 24 hours of the event. It is important to run the tap for 10 minutes (on cold at full flow) before collecting the sample.

Battery Recycling

Bring your alkaline batteries of all shapes & sizes to be properly recycled.

Prescription Disposal

Bring expired, unwanted, or unused prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications for proper disposal.

Clothing Swap

Bring 1-2 gently used adult sized clothing items to donate or trade! The clothing swap will be located inside the pavilion which is also where you can find the free coffee!

Volunteers Needed!

This is the largest sustainability event of the year in the River Falls area and numerous volunteers are needed for a variety of times and tasks. Sign up here. If questions, email sustainability@uwrf.edu.
